CISPE: together with other European IaaS providers – 1&1 sets an example for more Cloud security

Although businesses are starting to approach the cloud with growing acceptance, there still exists a certain amount of scepticism around the technology. People have a picture in their head of a vast disorganised “cloud”, and this brings up significant privacy concerns that providers need to address. Now, with our fellow European affiliates – arsys, FastHosts and home.pl – we are taking a step forwards in working against this negative perception. Together with other European Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) providers, we are supporting the Code of Conduct of the European initiative CISPE (Cloud Infrastructure Services Providers in Europe), which was introduced to the public last week.
