Your customers are trying to get information as fast as possible, and anytime they run into a lot of text and information that they have to sift through on their own, it can turn them away from your business. The key is to strategically utilise the text on the pages of your website.
To make your website easier to read, try to convey messages in short sections, rather than long pages. This will keep the user moving through the site to learn more information a little bit at a time, and not be turned away by a wall of text all crammed into a single area. The individual sections should be broken up as well. Ideally, your visitors should be able to skim through the content to learn more about your business without having to spend a lot of time reading. Utilise headings, bulleted lists, and call out specific terms in bold to draw your readers’ attention.
